Strength training is recommended to be included as part any rehabilitation program. Strength training is a very effective for injury prevention and building body resilience by improving the strength of muscles, tendons, ligaments and bones. Stronger muscles and tendons help support the body alignment and protect bones and joints against strain or impact.
Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, neck, back, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.
